Evelyn A. Vanderpool

VANDERPOOL, Evelyn A. 11/17/1940 – 12/15/2018 Age 78 years of Omaha Evelyn derived joy from her sons, her extended family, and her pets. She loved music that ranged from the Old-Time Country to Pop. She loved rooting for the Huskers and her beloved Chicago Bears. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting. There were many lucky recipients of baby booties, afghans, scarfs, blankets, etc... Evelyn was a genuine person who was strong and independent and overcame many hardships. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was a member of AA for 40+ years. Evelyn grew up in the Florence neighborhood and her final years were spent in Assisted Living at Orchard Gardens in Valley, Ne. Her childhood began in Florence and at every step along her journey, she has made new friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her infant son Michael; She is survived by her Sons: Richard (Sue), William “Bill”, David (Margareta) Stanger; many grandchildren, great grandchildren.
