Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Elsa Swanson. Survived by cousins, family and dear friends in Omaha. She also enjoyed many cousins and families in Sweden. Eva graduated from Central High School in 1944 and Augustana College, Rock Island, IL in 1948. She enjoyed a long career with University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1948-1989, as secretary for the office of the Air Force ROTC program. She was an active member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Omaha,NE.
Private interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to invite contributions to Augustana Lutheran Church, UNO Alumni Association or MOSAIC.
A celebration of Eva’s life will be held January 21,2023 at Augustana Lutheran Church (3647 Lafayette Ave). Family and friends will receive visitors at 10am, share a memorial service together at 11am and serve a luncheon following.
