Eugene "Gene" Sittig was a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He left his earthly home on April 13, 2022. He was 75 years old. Gene was born to Julius and Evelyn on August 20, 1946. After graduating high school, he joined the Marine Corp and served 2 years. Upon returning home to Iowa, he met and married his wife of 51 years, Gloria Niles. Together, they raised 3 children, Tim, Randy, and Sarah. Left to share memories and stories are Gene's five grandchildren. Caralynn, Robin, Ava, Bryor, and Lydia were loved beyond measure by their papa. Gene is also survived by his siblings, Jim, Pat, and John.
