Eugene (Gene) Gary Meyer was born in Sioux City, IA on September 13, 1946. He graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School and attended Creighton University. Had a variety of career experiences including advertising, dog trainer, lobbyist, and small business owner. Gene was an avid corvette enthusiast and member of The Cornhusker Corvette Club. He won multiple awards and races.
Gene is survived by his three daughters-Sarah Kelly of Papillon, Vanessa Meyer of Omaha, and Leah Meyer of Omaha. Grandchildren include Lily Meyer, Audrey Huber, Brennan Huber, and Carter Blair.
Gene is preceded in death on August 18th, 2023 by his parents, August and Hedwig Meyer; and grandson, Gavin Huber.
