MCINTYRE, Eugene age 77 years of Omaha, passed away peacefully November 22, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by parents, John & Ruth McIntyre; son, Steven John; grandson, Keith Hunter; brothers, Jack & Donald. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy Mae (Foglesong) McIntyre; daughter, Sharon Hunter, husband David of Decatur IL; son, Mike McIntyre and wife Lori (Mickells) of Omaha; grandchildren, Bryan, Derek & Dustin Hunter, Alex, Kevin & Katelyn McIntyre; sisters, Patti Reskin and husband Marshall of Sarasota, FL, Margie Schab and husband Mike of Omaha; sister-in-law, Darlene Julis of Shawnee, KS; several nieces, nephews & friends. Gene was a loving & devoted husband, father, & grandfather. He was thankful for his many dear friends and all who touched his life during his professional career. He was a faithful follower of the Hour of Power Ministries. He was the retired president of Ray Martin Co. Mechanical Contractors. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to the Omaha Home for Boys or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The family of Gene would like to thank the doctors, nurses and healthcare providers of the Nebraska Cancer Specialists & Methodist Health System for their outstanding care and compassion.
