Esther Lee Hetterich

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Esther Lee Hetterich, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who departed this world peacefully on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, at the age of 99. Esther Lee was born on Thursday, February 11th, 1926, and adopted by the late Charles and Lottie French in Kansas City, Missouri.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hetterich and her son in law, David Martin. Esther Lee leaves behind her son, Mark (Connie) Hetterich; daughter, Sherry Martin; grandchildren, LeeAnn (Kurt) McClannan, Kristin (Stephen) Leps, Vince (Michelle) Martin; 9 great grandchildren, Rachel McClannan, Emma McClannan, Jackson Martin, Simon McClannan, Grayson Martin, Mae Martin, Caleb Martin, Whit Leps and Ruby Leps..

A graveside service to honor Esther Lee's remarkable life will be held on Friday, April 25th, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Voss Mohr Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska.

In lieu of flowers memorials to be directed to Christ Community Church.
