Witthuhn, Eric J. Eric James Witthuhn, 62, passed away on February 6, 2021 in Omaha, NE. He was born on April 13, 1958, to Wayne and Nadine (Ellison) Witthuhn in Callaway, NE. After graduating high school he moved to Omaha, Nebraska where met and married Kyndra (Maret) Witthuhn. Together they had one child, Brandy (Witthuhn) Hanes. Starting in 1979 he worked for NP Dodge for twenty years doing maintenance. In 1999 he switched careers and became an appliance tech for General Electric. Eric loved to help family and friends with whatever he could. Some of his hobbies included woodworking and helping his wife and daughter with their crafting projects. Later in life he enjoyed spending his time with and spoiling his grandchildren. Eric is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Diane; brother, Greg; sister in law, Coeleen; father in law, Darrell and nephew, Jered. Eric is survived by his wife, Kyndra; daughter, Brandy Hanes and husband, JP of Plainview, NE; brothers, Brad Witthuhn of Callaway, NE and Jerry Witthuhn and wife Beverly of Omaha, NE; grandchildren PJ, Alexander and William; mother in law, Reita Maret; many nieces and nephews. A Private Service will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Braman Mortuary (6505 S. 144th St) followed by a burial at Mt. Auburn. In lieu of flowers, Eric’s family requests that you take a CPR class. It could save a life.
