Betty was born on November 10, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated in 1950 at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs. She married Don Evans on February 24, 1951. They lived several places due to Military life and finally settled in Millard, Ne.She had two children, Michael and Teresa Evans. Her first love was to raise her children until they were in school, then became a keypunch operator at Western Electric. She retired from AT&T of Omaha, in 1988. She kept busy helping with the grandchildren when needed and spent time at their favorite summer house on the riverbank near Niobrara with several family and friends. We had special memorable moments with them there. As she and dad got older the house became too much and they sold the property. They continued to be very involved with their children, and grandchildren and gave herself unselfishly to them all. She was the most giving, family- oriented person I know.
