Elmer Paul Hoeneman, 90, of Omaha, passed away on November 19th in Bellevue (Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home). Elmer was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Army and was awarded the National Defensen Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars, the United Nations Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. Elmer is preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Hoeneman; and son, Terry Hoeneman. Elmer is survived by daughter, Jeanne Chapman; son-in-law, Mark Chapman; sister, Florence (Jerry) Kuss; granddaughters, Nicole Hoeneman, Amanda Hoeneman, and Christina Chapman. Memorials may be given to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
