Eleanor was born April 7, 1933 to Fred and Georgia Clough in Chicago, IL. The family moved to Omaha in 1935. She graduated from Tech High School in 1951. She was joined in holy Matrimony to Frank L. Stearns in 1951. To this union was born 5 children. She retired from Mutual of Omaha after 24 years of service. A faithful member of Claur Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir, taught Sunday school, served as Church Secretary and in the Community Center Youth Program. She leaves to cherish found memories, two daughters Cynthia (Darrell) Benford, Mary L. Stearns, Victoria (Ron) Reviere. 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, Sister Dorothy (Elwin) Taylor, Brothers Fred (Celestine) Clough, Carl Clough, Michael (Alice) Anders, host of nieces and nephews, and dear friend Marie Williams.
