SHAEFFER, Elaine L. 12/12/1930 – 2/19/2022 Elaine Luella Butler Shaeffer was born December 12, 1930 to James and Goldie Butler. Her older brother Everett was a Navy seaman. Elaine was not only devoted to her children Janine and Richard, but also devoted to her work. She worked for 35 years as a receptionist at the Ambassador Nursing Home and 25 years at Boyd E. Braman Mortuary as a part time evening receptionist. She even found time to sell fine Jewelry from Brandeis / Younkers. Elaine loved people and they loved her. She adored her puppies and even with her busy schedule, she found time to take them for a daily walk. Elaine lived with her daughter and husband. They were able to love and care for her in her later years. Elaine was preceded in death by brother Everett Butler; She is survived by Daughter Janine Myers & husband Perry; Son Richard Shaeffer & wife Connie; Grandson Tim Shaeffer; Her puppy of 10 years, Jazzi.
