Don is preceded in death by his parents Adolph & Hulda Nelson; sister Dorothy Barkley; son-in-law Jim White: He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Sally Nelson; daughter Kathy White; son David Nelson; grandchildren: Kristy White, Brian White (Jaime Meyer); great grandson Brendan Sagitteh; many other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Donald’s Life: Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 11 a.m., with Visitation starting at 10 a.m., all at Augustana Lutheran Church 3647 Lafayette Ave.
Internment: Westlawn Hillcrest Cemetery.
