Donald F. Meyers, age 87, passed away on October 6, 2023. Born on July 21, 1936, In Ainsworth, NE to parents Albert and Elizabeth Meyers, Don was proud to be from the sandhills and was a wonderful husband of 65 years to wife Berniece (deceased in 2019). Don and Berniece moved to Omaha, NE where they raised their four children, and he began his career at Kiewit. Having a passion and love for the company, he proudly retired after 33 years of service. Don was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Elizabeth; wife Berniece; brothers Marvin and LeRoy; sisters Dorothy Hughes, Fern Stewert, Margorie Stephenson, and Roberta Burnside. He leaves behind son Don (Sharon) Meyers; daughters Vickie Meyers, Debbie Meyers, Tami (Chris) Eastridge; Grandchildren Lindsey (Dirk) Churchill, Andrew Meyers, Brenna Eastridge, and Caylin Eastridge; and great-grandchildren Leo Churchill and Clay Churchill.
