Donald J. Johnson, 78, retired Omaha business man, passed away Tuesday 9/20/11 from Congestive Heart Failure. Born on 2/12/33 to James and Theresa Johnson. He was a graduate of North High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of UNO earning a degree in Business and Psychology in 1957. He was very involved in vocal music, singing in choir and a barbershop quartet. He also loved to play basketball and was passionate about Husker Football. Don is survived by his wife, Nenita and her family; Daughter and Son-in-law, Cher & Dr. Hal Smith, Granddaughter’s, Jennie, Jamie, Jessie and Jodie, of Lincoln; Son and Daughter-in-law, Steve & Sue Johnson, Granddaughter’s, Cheyenne & Cierra, of Gretna; Daughter, Sandi Johnson, of Glen Haven, Colorado. Visitation, Friday 5-8 pm at Braman Mortuary (72nd Street Chapel). Funeral Service, Saturday 2:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 14680 California St. Omaha, NE 68154.
