Dennis was a loving son, brother, father, and friend. He was a popular tattoo artist in Omaha.
Dennis grew up in a small farming community in Illinois. Many of his fondest memories were times spent on the family farm near Illinoi City, Ill. Dennis graduated from Rockridge High School in 1989. He enlisted in the Illinois National Guard and was a member for four years.
In 1992 Dennis moved with his brother Patrick and sister-in-law Michelle to Omaha Nebraska. Dennis was a skilled artist and sculpture from an early age, and these skills served him well. He was fortunate enough to work with comic book artists in Omaha, and later transferred his artistic ability to the tattoo industry. He enjoyed 25 years in the tattoo industry, and met many life-long friends along the way.
Dennis enjoyed art his entire life, but his greatest love came from his four children, and grandson. His children Tristin, Jade, Alysia, and Gage enjoyed many nights watching movies, playing video games, cooking, and doing art projects. His kids and their friends would enjoy it, when Dennis would hold art lessons using the family refrigerator as an eraser board. Dennis also enjoyed cooking, and spent many nights trying different recipes with his children’s help.
In the last week of his life...Dennis had many visitors, and was rarely left alone. It is a testament to a life well served, when the depth of sorrow touches many for a dearly departed.
God grant Dennis peace, and comfort...Amen...
