Davis (Sam) Jones Obituary

Davis (Sam) Jones was born on October 5, 1933 in Phil Campbell, Alabama to his parent Grady & Ida Jones. Sam met his Judie (Colorossi) Jones in the summer of 1958 and were married August 23, 1958. He served, with distinction, nearly 24 years in the United State Air Force. Sam and family were transferred to Offutt Air Force Base in August 1975, after numerous Air Force assignments around country. Sam retired from the Air Force in 1977 going onto a career of electrical technician duties meanwhile making Omaha their home.

They raised three sons Don, Ron and Rick. Sam was the proud grandpa of six grandkids Aaron, Allison, Maddie, Kady, Nick and Brennan as well as a great grandpa to Barrett.

Sam enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, camping and taking care of his yard and garden.
