MOON, David Edward – Age 54 years of Omaha, passed away July 26 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE after a brave battle with a lengthy illness. David was one of God’s special people who brought delight to everyone he met. He was the living embodiment of Will Rogers’ statement, ‘I never met a person I didn’t like’. David had many friends who loved him, which he loved in return. David was born December 24, 1952 in Mason City, IA, the son of Donald and Grace (Warner) Moon. He lived alternately in Mason City and Omaha, NE until moving to Ocala, FL in 1983. He returned to Omaha in 1986, where he has lived ever since. He is preceded in death by his: Parents, Donald and Grace Grandparents, O.E. and Elizabeth Moon of Mason City, IA Hiram, and Effie Warner of Coldwater, MI He is survived by his: Sister, Dr. Deborah Reay of Omaha, NE Brother, Donald Moon, Jr. and wife Beth of Bowie, MD Nieces, Suzanne Moon of Omaha, NE Emily Moon of Bowie, MD Nephew, Matthew Moon of Bowie, MD Funeral Service: Tuesday, 10:30 AM at Braman Mortuary Visitation: Monday, 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Braman Mortuary Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Park Memorials may be given to ENCOR Central Area (4910 N. 72nd St., Omaha, NE 68134, c/o Ken Hill)
