David W. Matson

David "Dave" Wayne Matson, aged 65, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 31st in Omaha, Nebraska surrounded by loved ones. He fought his illness like a champ to the very end. Dave lived life to the beat of his own drum, had a huge heart, and brought laughter wherever he went. To the core he was a biker who embraced the freedom he got from riding. One of his great loves was music - if he didn't have a drum set in front of him, he was tapping on the dashboard to that old time rock and roll. A tough guy on the outside, his caring adventurous spirit has left a permanent mark on all those who knew him. Dave is preceded in death by father Robert Matson Sr., mother Patricia Matson, brother in law Mike Tostenson. Survived by son Sydney Matson, brothers Robert Matson Jr., Daniel Matson (Denise), sisters Jackie Nelson, Debbie Tostenson (Mike), Laura Sinnett (John), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
