LAUNER, David A. 7/17/1953 – 11/3/2018 Age 65 years of Omaha David A. Launer was born July 17, 1953 in Fremont, Nebraska to Carl Launer and Mary Loftis. He attended North High and graduated in 1972. He attended UNL and transferred to Nebraska College of Tech Agriculture in Curtis, Nebraska and graduated from there. He worked in Beaver City, Nebraska at the Furnas County NCRS for several years then moved to Blair, Nebraska and worked at the Papio NRD Office there. He later worked in security, lately for Allred/Boston in Omaha. He was married to Linda Negaard in Blair and they had 2 children, Megan and Thomas. David and Linda later divorced. David was preceded in death by mother Mary Launer, brother Richard Launer. He is survived by his Father Carl; Daughter Megan Launer of California; Son Thomas of Connecticut; Sisters: Margaret (Peggy) Launer, Catherine (Mike) Friesz, Carla Launer; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
