David Kent Ingersoll

David Kent Ingersoll July 9, 1950 – January 1, 2022 David K. Ingersoll, age 71, of Omaha, NE passed away peacefully on January 1, 2022, at his home after an extended illness. He was born on July 9, 1950 to Lloyd and Dorothy (Jenkins) Ingersoll in Council Bluffs, IA. He attended schools in Council Bluffs, IA and graduated from Marysville High School, Marysville, KS in 1968. On December 18, 1971 he married Rosemarie Bauer, in Council Bluffs, IA. They were married for 50 years. They were blessed with two children, Heath and Tanya. David was an auto mechanic for many years and ran his own business. He loved his time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He enjoyed race cars, sports, camping, music, and playing in a band. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, John Hawkins; great granddaughter, Elesa Ingersoll, Sister-in-law, Cindy Ingersoll, and nephew, Rich Ingersoll. Survivors include his wife, Rosemarie, Omaha, NE; son, Heath Ingersoll (Significant other, Sara Cavenaugh), Omaha, NE; and daughter, Tanya (Jim) Harriman, Walnut, IA. Siblings: Ronald (Lois) Ingersoll, Lakeville MN; Richard (Diane) Ingersoll, Burnsville, MN; Greg Ingersoll, Marysville, KS; and Kathy (Bill) Huerter, Marysville, KS. Grandchildren: Vanessa Ingersoll, Omaha, NE. Desirae Ingersoll, Virginia Beach, VA. Great Grandchildren: Anthony & Lexie Ingersoll, Virginia Beach, VA. Braxton Voll, Omaha, NE. Family / Friends: Aunt, cousins, and many nieces & nephews. He had great memories of longtime friends. Visitation will be at Braman Mortuary & Cremation Services; Sunday, January 9, 2022; time pending. Interment will be Monday, January 10, 2022 at 1:00 PM, at Graceland Cemetery, Avoca, IA; Highway 59 & I-80. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Braman Mortuary & Cremation Services, 6505 S. 144th St. Omaha, NE 68137. Interment will be Monday, January 10, 2022 at 1:00 PM, at Graceland Cemetery, Avoca, IA; Highway 59 & I-80.
