BLUMEL, David W. of Omaha, passed away March 26, 2013. David was born, April 21, 1967 in Nebraska City, NE. Graduated from Millard South High School in 1985 and received an Engineering Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1990. Member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. David fought a courageous battle with cancer for 21/2 years before passing away surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his daughter, Sydney Lynn Blumel; parents, Bill & Joyce Blumel; brother, Daniel Blumel; sister, Linda Blumel: brother-in-law, Ron Finkel; former wife, Heather Blumel; niece, Paula Thurston; dear friends, Jim Broesch, Shannon Huehn, Rick English and numerous wonderful friends.
