ARP, DAVID DALE 12/18/1939 - 2/24/2022 Dave was born in Lake View, Iowa to Glen and Ordena Arp. He was a kind, generous, loving man with a beautiful voice and love of music, a voice he used in an acapella choral group in college, a voice that took him right into 26 years of broadcasting. He was always interested in learning new things and trying new things. As a teenager he was an amateur radio operator, got his pilot’s license at age 16, flight instructions paid for by his paper route. He was a good athlete, a lifeguard, a hang gliding pilot and instructor. He was also a patriot, proud of having served in the Air Guard. An electrician and politician at heart, always entrenched and up to date on world happenings. A man of many talents, who could fix almost anything. Family and faith were everything to him. We will miss him. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Glen, Jr., (Sonny) and his sister, Joyce. Survived by his wife of many years, Joanie, nieces and nephews.
