Daphne passed away at the age of 89. Born in London, England and lived the last 55 years of her life in the Bellevue/Omaha area. She lived through the Battle of Britain in London during WW2 and was later moved to the rural areas of England for a portion of the war with the evacuated children of London.
Jean is survived by her brother Roy and sister Sylvia of England; her daughter, Jacqueline "Jackie" Cooper, of Omaha; son, Rick and wife Mary Cooper of Huntsville, AL; three grandchildren, Brian and wife Melissa Hansen, Nicole Murchison and Ryan Murchison; seven great-grandchildren, Kaiti, McKenzie, Chase, Chelsea, Ella, Layla and Blake; and special friend Carol. Jean is predeceased by her husband Bill; father Charles, mother Alice; brothers Charlie, Jim, George, John, Bryan, and Alan; sisters Lilly, Dolly, Doreen, and Renee.
A memorial dinner service was held Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska. Inurnment will be private. Memorials are suggested to a charity of your choice
