Daniel A. Davis
February 12, 1997 ~ September 3, 2022
Daniel was a graduate of Westside High School. Class of 2015. After high school he attended Iowa Western Community College majoring in Criminal Justice. His desire to pursue a career in law enforcement lead him to Omaha Corrections(OCC)in 2017. He held various positions throughout his time at OCC. He was well respected among his co-workers and superiors.
In 2020, Daniel decided to enlist in the Reserve National Guard. He wanted to pursue his desire to learn more about computer programming. He was well liked by those in his unit. He was a person that you could count on whenever you needed him. He had an infectious laugh that lit up his face when he smiled. He was an introvert but once you were within his inner circle, you were a friend for life.
He lived a full life within a short period of time. He got to visit Hawaii with a close group of friends. He skydived and flew a plane. Most recently, he went on an ocean cruise. The pictures he posted showed me that he had a wonderful time.
Daniel may be gone physically but his memory will always live on in our hearts.
Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Danny Davis and grandmother, Shirley Davis. He leaves behind his mother, Pamela Davis (Chris Degand), sister Kayla (Jose) Valenzuela. Visitation will be held 5pm to 7pm, with a prayer service starting at 7pm,; Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Braman Mortuary 72nd Street Chapel. Graveside Service for family and close friends, will be held at 10am., Wednesday, September 14, 2022. At Westlawn Hillcrest Cemetery 5701 Center St, Omaha, NE.
