PETERSON, Daniel O. "Dan" 7/21/1929 – 10/18/2018 Age 89 years of Omaha Dan passed away peacefully at home.He lived his life in Omaha, growing up in the Miller Park area, and graduated from North High.After attending Iowa State University he served in the Army in Germany during the Korean War.Dan returned to spend his career in the family business, B.G. Peterson Company, in the commercial heating/air-conditioning/boilers field.He was a leader and active member of the Noonday Scandinavian Club. His family and friends, Army, American Legion and VFW buddies were important to him. He loved camping, and a tent was his favorite home. Dan had a life-long thirst for knowledge, reading, studying words and Scripture. Dan is survived by Daughter Amy (Mike) Anderson; Son David Peterson & Shelley Wolf; Former wife Jeannette Peterson Briscoe; Brothers: Ben (Aretha) Peterson, Warren Peterson; Grandchildren: Megan (Ben) Romey, Mallory (Drew) Blake, Colin Anderson; Great Granddaughters Jessica & Jordan Romey; Cousins: Ron (Fran) Ruh, Diane Niebel; Special Friend Teresa (Larry) Brown; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
