Of Omaha, NE. Passed away at the age of 73 on May 1, 2023. Dale was born on June 26, 1949 in Canton, OH, to Edgar and Joan Brumbaugh. Dale graduated from Benson High School and attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Dale was influenced by his father and older brother, developing a love and interest in aircraft. Dale served in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic in England. Dale then attended the Tulsa Spartan School of Aeronautics, receiving additional training in aircraft maintenance, plus receiving licenses for mechanic-airframe and mechanic-powerplant, and earned his private pilot’s license. Dale worked for a helicopter tour company in Las Vegas. Dale returned to the Omaha area to become a postal carrier from which he retired. Dale was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brothers, Ed and wife Sue, Beavercreek, OH, and David and wife Alane, Bartlesville, OK; and nephew Ryan, Oklahoma City, OK.
