Christine "Chrissy" A. Baney

Christine Ann Baney was welcomed with love by her father Sid Baney and mother Linnea Baney in Jerusalem on April, 8 1966. With Christine's medical needs increasing it was time to return to the United States for care. Christine along with her parents joined her grandparents on the family farm in Plattsmouth, NE. Christine attended J.P. Lord school for her primary education. She attended and graduated Plattsmouth High School. Christine participated in two 4 H Clubs and enjoyed many activities and was able to present at the state fairs. Christine continued her education and attended classes at Peru State College and Bellevue University. Due to Christine's special needs she moved to QLI where she received wonderful loving care. Chrissy was a very active resident and loved to take part in as many activities as she could. Some of her favorites were fishing, arts, and music. Christine every year looked forward to the Easter Seals Camp. Christine loved to go to church and was part of the choir. Through all of life's ventures Christine made many lifelong friends. Christine Ann Baney is survived by her loving mother, Linnea Baney and brother, Daniel Baney, many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends. Christine was always filled with joy and happiness and it was contagious amongst her caregivers, friends and family. Anybody Christine met she believed the best of them. Christine's light was so bright so great that even after she is gone her light will always remain.

Graveside Service: Friday, June 17 at 10 am at Oak Hill Cemetery, 149 Oak Hill Rd., Plattsmouth, NE

Memorial Mass: Thursday, June 23 at 5:30 pm at St. John's Catholic Church at Creighton, 2500 California Plaza, Omaha, NE
