With much sorrow in our hearts, the family of Christa informs her beloveds that she passed away at the Josie Harper Hospice in Omaha, Nebraska. She was 88 years old.
Christa was a devoted wife to her husband Richard for 68 years. Christa was a loving, dedicated mother/mother-in-law to Denise (Steve) and to Tina (Bill). She greatly enjoyed being an Oma/grandmother to: Jonathan (Kenny), James (Amber), Nate (Lois), Katie, Jacob, and great-grandson Archer. Christa is survived by her sister Johanna Mills as well as brothers and sisters-in-law: Jole (Jolene), Geraldine, Dennis, and Kenny (Donna). Several nieces, nephews, other family, and dear friends also endured her passing.
Christa was proceeded in death by her parents Johanna Kienel-Lupp and Christan Lupp. Other dearly departed are her brother Emil Lupp and former sister-in-law Rennee Lupp.
Christa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She was a member of the German American Society, Iris Society, and Saint Stephen the Martyr Church.
The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday January 6th, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Saint Stephen the Martyr Church (16701 S St, Omaha, NE 68135). A luncheon will follow the funeral service.
