MANNSCHRECK, Chris R. 8/27/1968 – 1/6/2019 Age 50 years of Omaha Chris "Buck" Mannschreck was born on August 27th, 1968 in Fairbury, NE.He graduated from Fairbury High School in 1986 where he participated in football, basketball, track and baseball. Following High School, he attended the University of Nebraska where he was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity. He concluded his studies and earned his Bachelors of Liberal Arts from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. He was an fanatic of the Kansas City Royals and if you spent any time with him during the magical 2015 season watching the playoff and World Series, you couldn't help but share his enthusiasm. Provided of course, if you brought along ear plugs to the party. He also enjoyed cheering for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Kansas City Chiefs. "Buck" was the life of the party and nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his family and friends. He loved his three children and wife and enjoyed the times spent on vacation as a family more than anything. Some of the most memorable trips included a cruise to the Bahamas, New York City, Florida and of course the countless mini trips to Kansas City and Branson. His favorite place on earth though had to be Jamaica, where he and Lisa were married on the beach. One thing is for sure, if you had the pleasure of meeting up with him, you would leave with a smile on your face. In March of 2018, he was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. He fought courageously and his spirit remained positive throughout the entire battle. Chris is survived by his wife Lisa Mannschreck; Children: Alyssa, Grant & Hailey Mannschreck; Parents Howard & Alverna Mannschreck; Brother Todd Mannschreck & wife Lisa; many other relatives and friends.
