WILLIAMS, Charlie Mae 9/6/1939 – 8/8/2018 Age 78 years of Omaha Charlie Mae Williams was born on September 6, 1939 in Montgomery, Alabama. Her parents were Charles Brown and Gertrude Willis. In Montgomery, Alabama she attended and graduated High School. She also met her Husband, Jimmie Lee Williams. They were married in December of 1959. From this union Charlie Mae and Jimmie had a daughter, Charnette Williams in March of 1962. Two years later, Charlie Mae moved to Omaha, Nebraska. She worked for Douglas County Hospital for Twenty-Seven years before taking an early retirement. Charlie Mae then worked for Ambassador Omaha for Fourteen years. In May of 2007, she was baptized and became a member ofNorth Omaha Church of Christ. Charlie Mae was a caring individual. She was also very strong, and loved her family more than words could express. She was like a second mother to her grandchildren. Her favorite thing to do was go shopping. She loved a good deal! She also treasured spending time with her great-grandchildren. The memories of Charlie Mae will be forever in our hearts. Charlie Mae was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Charnette Williams, grandson Monte Williams, and sister Janie Mae. She leaves to cherish her memory: sister Carolyn Kirkland, grandchildren Sharhonda Williams, Cyrinthia Williams, JaVonté Williams, and Darius Smith, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
