Swede was a life long mechanic, he worked on the Enola Gay at the Martin Bomber Plant and retired as a maintenance foreman at O.P.P.D after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Omaha Softball Hall of Fame. Swede was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and he never met a dessert he didn’t like. He is survived by his Wife of 66 years Marian; Children: Rick Lambert & wife Jan, Craig Lambert & wife Gale Coleman, Jay Lambert & wife Debra, Todd Lambert & wife Diana; 12 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
