CARTER , Cecil L. "Les" 75 years of Ft. Calhoun, Nebraska passed away after a short illness with cancer, Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at his home. Les was born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 16, 1933. His parents, Cecil and Genevieve Carter, his wife Janice Carter and his sister, Dorothy Rassmussen preceded him in death. Les is survived by his daughters Debbie (Molly) Young, Patricia (Ray) Gilley, Connie (Mark) Groothius, Beverly Farris, Carrie (Bob) Schlabs and Lori (Sterve) Knight, a son Steven Carter. Les has 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Celebration of Les' Life: Saturday, 10:00 AM at Braman Mortuary (72 St. Chapel) Visitation: Friday, atfter 4 PM, with family present 6-8 PM at the mortuary. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
