Catherine S. Grinnell, age 72, passed away August 5, 2019 at Lakeside hospital after a 3-year courageous battle with cancer. Catherine was born in Alachua, Florida to Hugh and Cleo Phillips on April 3, 1947. Cathi received her degree from UNO for Interior Design. She worked in many different studios, but she loved Craftsman Window Coverings the most.Cathi and Edward Grinnell met when they were 9 years old.They grew up as best friends and later married after Ed returned home from the Navy. They spent the next 50 years together. Cathi is survived by her husband, Ed Grinnell, Daughter; Erin (Troy) Roenfeld; son, Taylor (Mandy) Grinnell; sisters, Trish, Lis, Ann, Beverly, Beth; brother, David; grandchildren, Rachel, Gage, Cody, Slade, Ben, Gracie and Lexy; Great grandchildren, Catherine, Sydney and Mason.
