Carrie Jean Walker was born on February 12, 1936, in Omaha, NE, to Fannie Penn and Eugene Presley. She recounted the story of her birth; being born unresponsive, she was laid on the trunk in the house. Her parents, fearing she was dead, rubbed on her back and spoke life over her and thank God she went on to live a full life of 85 years. Carrie was preceded in death by her mother, father, sisters Mayetta and Eliza, children Robert Sr., Yvonne, Jerry, Stanley, son-in-love David, daughter-in-love Ruby, granddaughter Tiffany and great grandson Adrian Jr. She is survived by her husband Haskel Jr., children Clennon Jr., Thomas, and Irene (Vernon), daughter-in-law Adgennelle (Stanley), special nephew and niece Willard and Ella Mae, grandchildren Robert Jr. (Joeanna), Reneasha, LaTanya (Kevin Sr.), Rontae, Brandon, Bryan, Lorenzo, Adonis, DaRhonda, Dalila (Lamar), Jocelyn, Tamika (Adrian Sr.), Tyrell (Dayna), Daniel, Danyale and NaTuri. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, loving in-laws, nieces and nephews, other relatives, close friends and church family.
