Carol went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2025. She lived Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Carol was born in Omaha, NE on March 18, 1964. She was the middle child of Don and Ada Mahrt.

She completed her education in Omaha and held various jobs over the years as a stock broker assistant, computer assistant and CNA. Carol loved to help others. She knew all her
neighbors and was always ready to help where needed. She volunteered on holidays to serve meals to the less fortunate. Her nieces and nephews remember her as “fun to hang out with.”

Carol is survived by her brother Steve (Vickie) Mahrt (Illinois) and her sister Kathy (Mike) McNeill (Florida). Six nieces and nephews: Abby (Dathan) Powell, Betsy (Jerome) Elver, Will (Christy) Mahrt, Jacob McNeill, Krista McNeill and Jackson McNeill. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
