Bruce P. Kaufman

KAUFMAN, Bruce P. 12/27/1968 – 8/8/2020 Age 51 years Bruce Kaufman was born December 27, 1968 in Harlan Iowa to Judy and Mike Kaufman. He joined big brother Jerry at home. Bruce and Jerry list their mother at a young age. Mike remained in Harlan with his young boys and they grew up surrounded by many loving aunts , uncles and cousins. Later on, Mike and Bruce moved to Omaha where Bruce attended his Junior and Senior years at Northwest Highschool. After highschool, Bruce worked for many years as a printer. He also did some warehouse work and then worked in sales. In 2008 he married Karla and they lived in Omaha with her Daughter Briana. He came to love his stepdaughter as if she were his own. He was excited to learn he was going to be “Papa Bruce”, a name that brought a tear to his eye right to the end. Bruce spent his life fighting personal demons that he could not overcome. He was quite a daredevil, and as they say about cats, he had 9 lives. He will be missed by all who loved him, but we all know he is finally at peace. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother Judy Kaufman; He is survived by his Wife Karla Kaufman; Step-Daughter Briana Peterson; Father Michael Kaufman & Marlene Church; Brother Jerry Kaufman & wife Becky;Many other relatives and friends.
