BOLTE, Brenda Day 9/26/1967 – 8/2/2017 Age 49 years of Omaha, formerly of Rhode Island Brenda Day was born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 26, 1967. A Cranston resident for the much of her life, Brenda left the state in 1988 and found the love of her life, Marcus Bolte, in Florida. The two were married and had a son, Marcus, Jr. in 1991: the completion of their family unit. Careers took the couple throughout the country over the next years and they finally settled in Omaha, Nebraska in 1999. Throughout the years, Brenda has owned a successful daycare and managed various businesses. A hard worker, Brenda always had the ability to make one feel like a member of the family within moments of meeting her. Charismatic beyond measure, Brenda was always helpful and giving to those who were lucky enough to cross her path. In 2013, Antonio Bolte, her grandson was born: her motivation to continue her altruistic path. She will be greatly missed by the people she touched upon throughout her life with her generosity and genuine affection. Brenda was preceded in death by parents, Mary & Charles Day, Sr., brother Charles Day, Jr.; She is survived by her Husband, Marcus Bolte; Son, Marcus Bolte, Jr.; Sisters Mary Day & Elizabeth Gunes; Brothers: Bo, Steven & Michael Day; 4 Grandchildren. Gathering of Family & Friends: Friday, August 4, 2017 from 5-8:00pm at Braman Mortuary (72 St. Chapel). A memorial service will be held at a later date in Cranston, Rhode Island Inlieu of flowers, memorials given to the family will be used in Brenda’s memory at a later date.
