McBreen, Bernadette R. “Bernie” 2/9/1930 – 8/11/2018 Age 88 years of Omaha Bernadette was preceded in death by husband Frank McBreen and 5 brothers: Clarence, Earl, Charlie, Fred and Edward Reard; Grandson Justin McBreen She is survived by her Children: Charles McBreen & Cindy Austin, Tina Kruse & Doug Nedjl, Diane McBreen, Bernadette & James Flink; 11 Grandchildren: Shantae andFred Humpal, Chad McBreen, Josh and Taylor McBreen, Corey McBreen, Anthony Flink, Will Austin, Kyle McBreen, & Patrick Flink; 10 Great Grandchildren: Miles, Chloe, Jayden, Cameron, Grace, Hope, Jayde, Killian, Ulrich & Tiberius She was born in Omaha in 1930 to Clara & CW Reard and was the youngest and only girl.She learned the value of hard work early helping on the farm.She met Frank on a blind double date where he whisked her off her feet and they were married June 2, 1951.They moved down to Texas so she could be near her parents. All 4 of their children were born there and then they moved back to Omaha in 1971.They found their forever home at 6142 Charles where thousands of memories were made and countless neighbors became life long friends.
