Johnson, Barbra 7/16/1951 – 5/26/2021 On Wednesday, May 26, 2021, Barbra Johnson, loving grandmother and mother of two sons, passed away at the age of 69. Barb was born in Wakefield, Nebraska in 1951. After graduating from Westside High School, she attended and received her nursing (LVN) degree from what is now Metropolitan Community College in 1971. She was a dedicated nurse for 48 years, serving primarily in pediatrics and ending her career as a clinic nurse at Offutt AFB. She was united in marriage to her husband, Bill, on March 10, 1979, and they had celebrated their 40th anniversary together just prior to Bill’s passing. She dedicated her life to helping and being there for others, not only through nursing. If she wasn’t attending one of her kids or grandkids activities such as track meets and band performances, she was volunteering for various charities such as Paws for Friendship. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren. She loved to travel and be in the sun and would make it to the beach whenever possible. Her bright smile, infectious personality and charm will be missed by many. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents, Harold and Bertie Schroeder. She is survived her sons, Will (Kendra) Johnson and Adam (Teresa) Cramer; brother, Gary Schroeder; grandchildren, Travis Johnson, Zane Johnson, Harley Bruning, LaShaun Kohls, Angel Halouska, Ariel Cramer, Izzy Cramer, Bridget Espinoza, Jason Espinoza; great grandchildren, Liam Halouska, Kelton Bruning, and Ezra Kohls.
