Aron Roy Friskopp passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2022 in Omaha, Nebraska. Aron was born on July 18th, 1976 to Paul and Kathleene (Lammers) Friskopp in Grand Island, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife Amanda; Children: Abigail Helen, Porter Roy, Paxton Roy, and Anaston Cynthia; Father Paul Roy (Pam) Friskopp; Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law Denny and Cindi Herd; Sisters: Michelle Eyler, Chandra (Brian) Timmons; Sister-In-Law Bethany (Josh) Redlinger; Brother-In-Law Ehren (Nicole) Herd; Nieces: Bailey Timmons, Alexis TImmons, Rylin Filon, Dawsyn Redlinger, and Oaklyn Herd; Nephew Cooper Redlinger; Uncles: Dudley (Barb) Friskopp, Larry Friskopp; Aunts: Melanie Lammers-Garrett, Annette (Peggy) Friskopp; Cousins: Gina (AJ) Mogis, Zachary Silverstein, Joshua Silverstein;Step Siblings: Matthew (Lori) Edwards, Dan (Amber) Edwards, and Amy (Cole) Hothan;Step Nieces and Nephews:Avery Edwards, Cole Edwards, Mya Hothan, Ali Hothan, Ava Hothan and Noah Edwards.Many other relatives and friends. Aron was preceded in death by Infant sons Ashton Paul & Anden Dennis; Mother Kathleene Friskopp; Grandparents: Karl Roy and Betty Mae Friskopp; Miff and LaDonna Lammers. Aron grew up in Shelton, Nebraska.He enjoyed 4-H, where he raised and showed pigs and rabbits.Aron spent a lot of time at his grandparents farm in Axtell, Nebraska.Aron ran a firework stand in Shelton, Nebraska during the 4th of July.He prided himself on being the corn eating champion of Shelton at Sweet Corn Days. He moved to Omaha in 1989 where he attended Andersen Middle School. Aron graduated in 1995 from Millard South High School where he enjoyed wrestling, football, DECA and socializing. He met Amanda during his time at Millard South.Aron attended University of Nebraska at Kearney where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He worked many years in agricultural insurance with his father, Paul. Aron was a loving husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, and friend. He was fiercely proud of his children and thought the world of them. Aron was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He had an extensive gun collection.He enjoyed woodworking, construction and home projects.Aron loved to travel anywhere, his most favorite was Arizona. He had a love for cars, especially antique cars and corvettes, including his cherished 1949 Ford pickup from his Great Grandfather, Anton. Aron loved football, especially the Huskers and the Bears. He had an extreme love for chicken wings, the hotter the better. Aron loved family dinners on Sundays.He enjoyed cooking and making his own recipes, especially his biscuits and gravy.Aron enjoyed pranks and jokes especially with his sister Michelle.He loved Saturday Night Live, the Simpsons, the Sopranos, The Godfather, Ratatouille and Christmas Vacation. Aron’s presence in our lives will be immensely missed.We will continue to keep his memory alive. To honor Aron a Celebration of Life will be held May, 13, 2022 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (7706 S 96th St, La Vista, NE 68128).A visitation will begin at 10am, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11am.
