Antoinette’s Journey Sunrise March 22, 1961 Sunset March 13, 2010 Antoinette M. Maloney was born on March 22, 1961 in Omaha, NE to Jasper and Thelma Maloney. She graduated from North High school in 1979. Antoinette continued her education at the college of Patricia Stevens where she obtained a degree in Business. In 1982, “Toni” married her high school sweetheart of 16 years Johnny Nelson Sr., which produced five beautiful children. Toni and Johnny parted ways, but remained good friends. For those who met “Toni” knew she was the pillar of the family and how important her role was in her loved ones lives. We looked forward to her cooking, unconditional love and her heartwarming smile. She will be missed more than words can express. Antoinette was preceded in death by her father Jasper Maloney and her brother Leonard Maloney. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving mother Thelma Maloney, significant other James Johnson. Children: Antonio (Tasha) Maloney, Lavelle (Shawn) Nelson, Felisha Nelson, Johnetta Nelson & Johnny Nelson, Jr. Sisters: Pamela (James) Maloney, Deborah Maloney. Brother Albert Ray (Teresa) Maloney. Seventeen Grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation: Thursday, after 4 PM, with family present 6-8 PM at Braman Mortuary (72 St. Chapel). Celebration of Toni’s Life: Friday, 2:00 PM at Mount Calvary Community Church (5112 Ames Ave.)
