Ann A. Nekl, born November 26, 1920, died May 18, 2020. Ann worked hard all her life.Her last job was at Safeway, but also spent a lot of time sewing her own clothes, along with making clothes for other people.She spent hours preparing food for family and guests.She gave a lot of time to the church, preparing communion, doing readings, preparing food when needed, and other helpful tasks.She cared for her beautiful yard with many flowers, plants and a garden.She enjoyed harvesting and canning the food she grew.Ann was passionate about her faith, and would talk about it often.Though Ann endured unimaginable hardships over the course of her life, she managed to persevere and found a way to continue to enjoy her life through her love of God, family and friends. She was preceded in death by many loved ones. She is survived by Son, Harley Moos and 6 grandchildren: Larry, Jamie, Melanie, Chuck, Patty and Kristen. Celebration of Life to be held at Braman Mortuary 1702 N. 72nd St. Omaha 10:00 AM Rosary at 9:45 Prior to Celebration of Life also at 72nd St. Location. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. During the service, please respect the family wishes of practicing social distancing and wearing protective face masks for everyone’s protection during this time. There will be a live stream of services on the Braman website: www.bramanmortuary.com Due to the current health pandemic, in lieu of a traditional social gathering, we will postpone.We are planning a gathering of family and friends to honor Ann, to be held Memorial Day, 2021.
