JOHNSON, Ann J., 98, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. She was a life long resident of Omaha NE until 1994 when she moved to Smithfield RI. Ann was the beloved wife of the late George E. Johnson. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Lillie Engel. Ann was preceded in death by her daughter Georgann Hepburn of Fort Dodge IA, and is survived by her daughter Joyce M. Kratt of Smithfield, RI. Ann had eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Ann was a housewife for the better part of her life. She and her husband enjoyed square dancing and camping. Together they camped with the Avion and Family Campers throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 14, 2008, 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Braman Mortuary, 1702 No 72nd St. Omaha. Ann’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 10:00AM at the above mentioned Mortuary.
