STEELE, Angela L. – Age 94 years of Omaha, passed away May 20 Angela Louise Remund Steele was born on April 9, 1913, to Ernest E. and Anna (Brixel) Remund in Wilmot, South Dakota. She graduated from Wilmot High School and started her nurses training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She received her Registered Nurse Degree from Sprague Hospital, Huron, South Dakota, August 27, 1938, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska – Omaha in 1965. Angela married Robert Taylor Steele on November 27, 1938, in Northbrook, Illinois. The couple lived in Mitchell and Sioux Falls, South Dakota before moving to Omaha in 1948. They lived there until moving to Norfolk, Nebraska in 1999.
