Amy was born June 28, 1972 at Albion NE to Robert B. McDuffee and Dianne (Thome) McDuffee. In June 1992, she married Michael D. Collins, they later divorced. On July 5, 1993 the joy of her life, Aaron M. Collins was born. Amy graduated from Ainsworth High School Ainsworth NE, attended UNK and graduated from UNO in 1998. She is survived by her son, Aaron,; parents, Bob McDuffee of MN, Dianne McDuffee of Omaha, former husband, Michael of Omaha; grandparents, Maxine McDuffee of Albion, Maxine Thome of Spalding; siblings, Bob (Tracy) McDuffee of IL, Regina McDuffee of New Jersey, Gary (Tina) McDuffee of Columbus; half-sisters, D J McDuffee of Colorado and Angie Sorenson of Lincoln; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Amy was preceded by her grandfathers, Bruce McDuffee and Francis (Frank) Thome and mother-in-law, Diana Collins of Kearney. Funeral Service Friday, June 21, 2013 at 10 AM at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 7706 S 96th St., LaVista, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, June 20th from 6 to 9 pm at Braman Funeral Home, 6504 S 144th St, Omaha, NE. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Omaha.
