JOHNSON, Alvin L. 10/14/1943 – 11/10/2018 Alvin L. Johnson was born October 14, 1943 in Selma, Arkansas to Andrew Sr. & Mable Johnson. He graduated in in 1961 from Drew High School with honors in math. He enjoyed working with numbers, reading, telling jokes & Riddles. He taught himself Spanish. Alvin joined the U.S. Army and served two tours in Vietnam expanding from 1967 – 1975, receiving honorable discharges. He is Preceded in death by Parents, Andrew Sr. & Mable Johnson; Siblings, Jona, Vernon and Luther He leaves to cherish his memories Daughter, Mable McIntosh of Sweetwater, AL; Brothers, Andrew Johnson Jr. of Omaha, NE and Curtis (Carrie) Johnson of Houston, TX.
