Alice Erftmier

Alice B. Erftmier born May 3, 1928 to Oscar and Cecilia Beach in Omaha Nebraska. She passed November 21, 2018. Alice graduated from North High School and the College of St Mary’s. She married and moved to Spain where she had her child. Upon arrival back to Omaha, Alice was a 3rd grade teacher for Omaha Public Schools for 34 years. She always said she loved helping students read and write. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling with dear friend, Bill. When he passed, she devoted her time to dog rescue, being president of Doberman Rescue of Nebraska, and starting a new rescue group, Good Dog Rescue of Nebraska. She is survived by her daughter, Alisa Pearson (Robert) , grand daughter, Sara Pearson Winterhof (Nathan), and two dearly loved great grand children, Gabriel and Pfeifer. Alice has numerous dear friends, both 2 legged and 4 legged. Celebration of Alice's life: Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 at 10:30am, with visitation beginning at 9:00am, All at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel) Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Park In lieu of flowers, Alice would love you to support Good Dog Rescue of Nebraska in Palmyra Nebraska, or a animal rescue group of your choice.
